"땅따먹기(Hopscotch)" is a documentation of performance done in Hiketa, Japan. This performance action explores ideas of land ownership, politics, and social class through interactive play. 땅따먹기[Ttang-tta-meog-gi/Hopscotch] is a performance derived from this game of hopscotch, leading a single player to work circling an endless loop in pursuit of something that cannot be obtained. The hopscotch court is installed in a parking lot and is interactive, inviting the audience to contemplate these ideas through play.
