Statement

This piece is a three-piece installation called "Born This Way". This work involves an audio element which encourages the spectators to roam around all three "nests" or "wombs" of the piece, hearing that the whispering voices come directly from inside the pieces. The work is about excessive consumerism creating a mass of trash as well as the lack of recycling. Waste is a huge issue and we aren't doing enough to minimize the masses, which leads to many environmental issues.
